• Recipient of the
2004 Builder Achievement Award
The highest award that can be
presented to a builder member of the Home Builders Association of
Greater Grand Rapids is the Builder Achievement Award. This award
represents a lifetime of dedication to the building industry, hard
work, community interest, and leadership involvement in our local,
state and national associations. We applaud the builders who have
achieved this recognition:
• Ben Brinks - 2003 &
2004 Chairperson of the Year
This award was developed
to recognize the individual who gave extraordinary effort during the
year as chairperson of a Home Builders Association of Greater Grand
Rapids committee.
• Recipient of HBA's
People's Choice Award
The Sales & Marketing
Council of Western Michigan, a council of the Home & Building
Association of Greater Grand Rapids, holds a People's Choice Awards
presentation each year. The People's Choice Awards are designed to
honor the outstanding achievements in new home construction.
• 1992 Recipient of HBA's prestigious HAP Award
In 1990, the Home &
Building Association of Greater Grand Rapids developed an award to
recognize good working relationships between builders and their
associates and subcontractors. It is called the “HAP - Homebuilders
and Associates in Partnership Award”. Builders and
remodelers are
are rated by their suppliers on the basis of trust, ethics, loyalty,
consideration, communication and overall working relationship. Only
one builder/remodeler is recognized each year who best exemplifies
"Homebuilders and Associates in Partnership" by the Association.
